The second New Moon in a month is called a Dark Moon. That is ok, but personally I do not see it as being different from other New Moons (which I love).

The New Moon means to me a time to have hopefully gotten to some finish point is some project or effort and to take a breather. It is restful. It is a time to understand the duality of life.

But for me, the second one in a month has no extra significance. After all, it was a pope that created our calendar. I wish months followed the moon phases. 13 months, with adjustments during the years. But of course, it is far too late for that.
